Throughout the 10+2+3 education system, students discover how literature makes sense of the world through stories, poems, novels and plays. At the post graduate study of English Language and Literature, students find a chance to sharpen their own ability to write, read, analyze and persuade. They engage in high-level study of literature and cultivate their abilities in advanced interpretation, critical reasoning, innovation, and writing. The programme consolidates the wealth of literature contributed from the four corners of the globe.
Dr Lankapalli Bullayya College started the PG programme in English literature in the year 1999. The department builds an intellectual community with excellent employability skills as it blends its study programme with multiple literary events and skill development programme. The department takes pride in its faculty and students who are highly valued in the sectors of education and research.

Other areas include media reporting, content writing, linguistic consultancy, translation and research in various aspects of Language and Literature.
