Ever since the college was assessed and accredited by NAAC*, the urge for quality enhancement initiatives have grown from strength to strength. As a sequel, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established in the college to create quality awareness and to impress on functionaries in the campus on the need for quality and scope to enhance the quality in terms of content and delivery. IQAC is responsible to facilitate the functionaries in the campus to contribute their positive role to create and sustain the right kind of academic culture and quality. Students are our immediate stake holders. In our efforts to deliver the services at higher levels of efficiency, IQAC has been involving teachers in developing better systems and improving the processes. In partial fulfillment of the above, certain measures are in force. Few of them are - Feed back from students on functionaries, physical facilities and services are regularly collected and the processed output is shared with the concerned and guidance is provided to them to improve upon. Tools are developed to assess the performance levels of functionaries in all functional areas such as curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular. Systems are in place to guide them to improve and to reward them on improvement. Systems and processes with ample scope and freedom are set in place for functionaries to work and improve. Periodic Performance Assessment by Peer Teams is also part of the system. The kind of direction from the Management flowing in support of quality enhancement initiatives is likely to place the college on northward trajectory on the path of Quality Enhancement in terms of content and delivery to our stake holders.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council is a National Body, established by UGC, to assess the practices and performance of Institutions of higher education in India. It awards grades to Institutions on the basis of their performance.The grades awarded are indicative of quality levels.
